Every standard service offered by JD Woods Law PLC now has a published flat fee. Fifteen services, fifteen prices, all visible on the website before a client ever speaks to an attorney. There is no hourly billing on standard work — flat fees only, capped hourly available for specialized matters that fall outside the standard menu.
Pricing transparency in Florida legal services remains the exception, not the rule. Most firm websites describe practice areas without quoting fees. Prospective clients are expected to request a consultation, sit through an intake, and receive a quote shaped by what the firm thinks the client can pay. The structural opacity advantages the firm; we do not think it serves the client.
Publishing the price list is not a marketing position. It is a working assumption: if the firm can describe the service clearly, scope it accurately, and deliver it predictably, the price should be quotable. Where the firm cannot do that, the work is not a flat-fee service and we will say so.
What this looks like in practice
- Contract review, LLC formation, NDA, demand letter, operating agreement, lease review, letter of intent, service agreement, terms & privacy, simple will, complete estate plan, power of attorney, and three Web 3 service variants — each with a single posted price
- No hidden charges for revisions within the agreed scope
- Specialized or complex matters referred to Board Certified specialists through the firm's referral network
The full price list is at /pricing. The current service catalog is at /services. If a service you need is not on the list, the firm will say so on the call and quote a capped hourly rate or a referral instead of guessing.
